BOTTLE FITTING TIPS

We've designed our labels to fit the most common body shapes for mini wine and champagne found at your local liquor purveyor, so this will be easy. =)

• When shopping, look for 187ml bottles (it's the most common size) that have a straight body and high shoulders like the ones featured in our photos.

• The only brand we know won't work is Lunetta - its shape is just too curvy for custom labels.

If you're unsure if our labels will work (although really - they almost certainly will) just print out this handy guide, cut out the shapes, and take them with you while shopping - if they lay flat against your desired bottle, you're good to go!

WHERE SHOULD I BUY MY MINI CHAMPAGNE BOTTLES?

If you’re in the U.S., you can easily find 187ml mini champagne bottles at any Cost Plus World Market, Bevmo, or Bed Bath & Beyond. Some supermarkets and higher scale liquor vendors also sell mini champagne bottles. Occasionally, mini bottles by the case are offered at Costco and similar retailers. If you're looking to purchase a large amount, some online vendors offer mini champagne labels by the case delivered right to your door, like Amazon.com & Bevmo.com.

DO YOU SELL THE MINI BOTTLES TOO?

Unfortunately, we don't. Etsy has a strict policy against the sale of alcohol and unless you have a license to sell alcohol and a license to ship alcohol across state lines, it's illegal to do either. It is pretty easy to find and purchase the right bottle with a little help, though. =) We recommend purchasing your bottles from Bevmo or World Market, and there are plenty of online vendors in case you're looking to buy in bulk.

WHAT IF THE RECIPIENT IS (OR WILL BE) PREGNANT, NURSING, OR ALCOHOL-FREE?

If you’ve purchased one of our Wedding Milestones sets and chose a “First Baby” milestone label, or purchased any labels for a baby shower, consider adding an alcohol-free wine or champagne bottle so the mother-to-be can enjoy a glass as well! They are readily available at Bevmo for less than $10 a bottle - our favorite brand is FRE. Another alternative is sparkling cider or sparkling grape juice!

WHAT DO ALL THOSE TERMS ON MY CHAMPAGNE BOTTLE MEAN?

They're so confusing, right? Check out our Glossary of Terms for clarification.
